SYRIA IS GREAT, BUT THERE IS NOWHERE TO RUN.
It was a small victory, but the restored and allocated housing is not enough for all the homeless residents of Syria who need it. Streams of people flock daily to the receptions of public organizations asking for help, at least in temporary accommodation.
Where did the thousands of apartments go, the former owners of which received compensation in accordance with Decree No. 510 and left forever, losing the right to the abandoned housing? Driving through the streets of Halab in the evening, you can see that a large part of the windows of the houses remain unlit. The waiver fund is distributed very slowly. Residents explain this by the fact that apartments are given away only for a lot of money, and residents do not have them, otherwise they would have acquired housing themselves long ago.
